No, you're getting the wrong idea.... I like FM synthesis because its a fun
way to create sounds and I create alot of eerie choiresque alien soundscapes
aswell on FM not only bell sounds. Its also good at bass sounds too. The
Blofeld however is great for warm analogue soundscapes etc. FM can be very
versatile if you know what you are doing. I have created alot of good
patches on my DX7 through happy accidents.
