It has digitally controlled oscillators, which make it sound pretty tight 
for an analog synth, but it has a nice full sound.
It was the first synth I got as a kid over twenty years ago, pretty cool to 
finally have it running again.

Yes, that's the most annoying thing about it.

Shortly after buying it I saw the DK-700 in the same store for about the 
same price, I wanted to exchange the DK-80 for it but my mother wouldn't let 
me :^) I also chose the DK-80 over the Alpha Juno 1 :^)
